Our Mission:

It is our mission to provide our clients with a calm, relaxing environment, and to receive the enhanced Splendor of Karmel’s.

With all respect, we kindly request our guests to observe our Spa Policies.

Appointments:

We will always do our best to accommodate your requests, but we highly recommend you make a reservation in advance for any of our services. You must be 18 years or older to make an appointment for any service, (Appointments must be made for anyone under 18 by a parent or guardian).

In order to preserve the peaceful and tranquil experience that our guests have come to expect and to comply with insurance guidelines, you must be at least 14 to be on the premises of Karmel’s Day Spa & Salon. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Cash or a major credit card is required to hold your reservation(s).

You may email us or visit our Web page to schedule an appointment. A Representative from the Spa will contact you to confirm your appointment within one day. Any information you provide on our site will not be sold or disclosed to any outside party.

Cancellations:

The time needed for the service(s) or Spa Package that you schedule is reserved exclusively for you.

If you need to cancel a reservation or reschedule one, we require a minimum of 24-Hours-notice for individual services and 48 hours on packages of two services or more. Please call us at 937.815.0128.

We reserve the right to charge your credit card if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled in less than the notice required by this Cancellation Policy. 100% of the service will be charged for cancellations and changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment. Any cancellations or changes made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your first scheduled appointment. Late arrivals will result in a shortened appointment so the next guest will not be delayed, and you will be charged for the full appointment.

Please Check In at the front desk. If it is your first visit with our Spa for massage, facials, or microderm you will need to fill out Spa forms for our records. If you have any questions or inquiries, please ask at after business hours please leave your message on our voicemail.

Check In:

To receive full value of the service, please arrive promptly.  If you are a new client we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time of booking your appointment.

Restrictions:

To receive the splendor and full pampering of your service we would like to suggest that you please turn off your cell phone off or on silent while inside the Spa. We will not be responsible for the loss or damage of your personal items.

Any sexual or unethical solicitations are not tolerated and will result in non-completion of your service and could be reported to authorities. Karmel’s is a smoke free Spa and Salon.

Health, Allergies, or Pregnancy Considerations:

When visiting or calling for your appointment, please make sure to notify our staff if you have any health conditions, limitations, allergies to medications or fruits, physical ailments, medications you are currently taking, or if you are pregnant. Please alert our therapist immediately for any discomfort during your treatment.

It is suggested but not required after our services it would be more comfortable for you if you are free of restrictive clothes. Allow a couple of hours after service before using deodorant on waxed underarms. If you are scheduled for spa facials, body treatments, you will be asked to put our robe on in a private area.

What to Wear:

Robe and slippers will be provided for you.

If you are scheduled for a facial, we encourage you not wear make-up prior to your service. Please let us know if you are wearing contact lenses, we also suggest you let us know if you are using skin medications such as retinol or accupane before doing your treatment.

Gift Cards:

Karmel’s Gift Cards are always welcomed and can be used towards your treatment. They will be honored for Spa Services, products or boutique purchases and are not redeemable for cash. Your Gift Card should be presented at checkout, otherwise you will responsible for any charges incurred during your visit to the Spa. Gift Cards are available for purchase at the front desk.

Payments:

We accept cash, local personal checks, most major credit cards and Karmel’s Gift Cards.

We charge $35.00 minimum for a returned check.

Gratuities:

Gratuities (or tips) are not included in our prices, but are highly appreciated by our staff. The standard gratuity is 15% – 20% of the cost of service provided.

On parties of 8 or more a 20% gratuity will be included.
