These are 1099 independent contractor positions. You set your own hours, keep 45% of services and 100% of tips.
Do I bring my own clients or do you provide them?
Karmel's has an active client base driven by Google Ads, SEO, and strong reviews — you'll step into real traffic. You're also welcome to bring any clients that follow you, and with no non-compete, they can follow you anywhere down the road.
What supplies am I responsible for?
The spa provides treatment rooms, linens, and standard consumables.
Do I need my own liability insurance?
Yes — licensed professionals maintain their own liability coverage. This is standard for 1099 contractor arrangements. We'll confirm specifics at interview.
What licenses do you require?
Massage Therapists: Ohio LMT License
Estheticians: Ohio Esthetician License
Cosmetologists / Nail Techs: Ohio Cosmetology or Nail Tech License
Is there really no non-compete?
